About Waves 2022

Waves 2022 is BITS Goa annual cultural fest and is one of the most highly anticipated fests in the country. It has seen an exponential growth in the number of attendees and is one of India’s fastest growing fests. The fact that it takes place in perhaps the most vibrant location of the country, Goa only adds to the beautiful vibe the fest creates. The fest celebrates music, dance and art and has multiple inter-college competitions where students can display their skills and immerse themselves in the beauty of the fest.

Immerse yourself in rock, starting with The Searock finals scheduled on the 18th of November, as top and upcoming bands, been through vigorous elimination rounds, battle it out for India’s most coveted semi-professional band prize.

On the same day, for the EDM Night, India’s top performing DJ, Nucleya, will take the stage. Prepare to let loose and headbang your night away as you lose your mind in a cacophony of some of the best music you’ve heard.

Following that, gear up for the time of your life to witness Sunidhi Chauhan live. Enjoy perhaps the truest form of expression in all of us as you let the soul of Bollywood permeate through you this November 19th.

Building up on the same day, we have MTV Hustle, a show where aspiring rappers battle it out to become India’s biggest hip-hop star, bringing their performers to fire up the night. Continuing on the high profile appearances on the 19th of November, we also have a FilterCopy Conclave bringing in the likes of Rashmi Agdekar, Viraj Ghelani, Manish Khararge and Priya Banerjee, also engaging themselves in judging *******Show Me The Funny****** and ****Mr. and Miss Waves*****.

Ending on a high note, we have Pineapple Express as our artist for Indie night, joining in the plethora of talented artists performing in this year’s edition of Waves. Bask in heavenly lyricism as you sway to the rhythm of the band that has caught the fancy of the whole of India, producing edgy yet meaningful music. Let your worries float away as you join them on an unforgettable voyage through their tales and tunes.
