National Symposium: The ornamental and edible horticulture is the fastest growing industry in the present day with outstanding professional opportunities. The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has imposed some major challenges on horticulture that has affected the production of crops and global trade. People and society needs better environment for their freshness through aesthetic horticulture.
The people live in metropolitan environments are more aware and dependent on green spaces. Due to economic crisis in pandemic circumstances the living standards are also affected. The consumers are looking for increased variety and healthy options in their eating choices. Therefore, the needs for better environment and healthy eating options have been given emphasis.
This symposium will provide a discussion forum for policy makers, scientists and all stake holders to address the challenges and sustainable goals of ornamental and edible horticulture innovations.
