Welcome to Sensathon 2023, the ultimate hackathon based on sensors! This exciting event is being organized by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Sona College of Technology.
Sensathon 2023 is a unique platform that brings together talented individuals from various domains who are passionate about exploring the possibilities of sensors.
It is an opportunity for participants to unleash their creativity and showcase their skills in developing innovative solutions using sensors.

Rules & Regulations
Stages:
Stage 1: Participants may form a team with the maximum of 4 members. The team has to submit their abstract.
Stage 2: Announcement of shortlisted teams after the scrutiny process.
Stage 3: The selected team has to complete the registration. The registration fee is Rs.1000/-per team (including GST).
Stage 4: Query form completion by the participants.
Stage 5: Team has to bring their proposals. The proposals may be started/ongoing work. partially completed/Completed work.
Stage 6: All the teams must participate in all the milestones.
Event Rules
The event has 5 stages namely – Kicker, Milestone-1, Milestone-2, Milestone-3, and Landing.
All the team have to participate in all the Milestones.
Kicker:
An interaction of individual team with evaluators. The problem statement will be decided and assigned.
Milestones:
Milestone-1, Milestone-2, and Milestone-3
Participants has to complete the assigned task within time of Milestone completion. The evaluation is based on precision and the time of completion. The participants must bring the major components. However the minor components will be provided based on the availability.
Landing:
Fine tuning task will be assigned in the Q&A session.

What is the Sensathon’23 ?
Sensathon’23 is a 24-hour long event where thousands of students from all over India collaborate to work on innovative and sustainable problem statements based on software and electronics domains to give an obliging solution.
Who can participate?
Sensathon’23 is open to all undergraduate students from all colleges across India.
How much is the participation fee?
After the scrutiny process, the organizing committee has shortlisted the teams for the upcoming event. The shortlisted teams are required to complete the registration process to participate in the event.
The selected team has to pay a registration fee of Rs. 1000/- per team, which includes GST.
The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. Teams are advised to complete the registration process as soon as possible to secure their participation in the event. Upon successful completion of the registration, teams will receive further instructions on the next steps of the event.
What are the prerequisites needed to participate in the Sensathon’23?
Participants may need to have knowledge and skills in areas such as electronics, programming, data analytics, and IoT technologies, depending on the theme of the hackathon and Participants may need to bring their own laptops, sensors, microcontrollers, and other necessary tools and equipment.
I have never done Tech projects before. Can I still participate?
That’s totally fine! We will be sharing with you all the resources required. It’s never too late to start.
What is the team size to participate in the Sensathon’23?
You can participate individually or maximum 4 in a team.
