Greetings from Central University of Haryana!!!
The 2030 Sustainable Development agenda is an ambitious agenda of United Nations to end poverty, eliminate inequality, address climate change and to ensure a better planet for future generations. Sustainable Development Goals call for coordinated action by governments, business concerns, civil societies and academicians. Cooperative organisations are best suited to achieve goals of sustainable development as these concerns are based on principle of participative and democratic association.
Department of Management Studies (Central University of Haryana) has always been sensitive towards issues of national and global concern. The department has been conducting various seminars, workshops, symposium, colloquium to provide a platform to invoke discussion on such issues of importance for our nation, society, humanity and planet at large.
Continuing this tradition of academic contribution, it gives me immense pleasure to share that Department of Management Studies in association with National Cooperatives Union of India (NCUI) is organising its First International Conference on “Sustainable Development through Cooperatives” on 26-27 March 2018. It will provide a platform to academicians, researchers, professionals and policy makers to deliberate upon role of cooperatives in sustainable development to end poverty, inequality and injustice to future generations.
You are kindly requested to send your papers and motivate your scholars and colleagues to participate in the conference to make it a grand success. You are also requested to put conference brochure on the notice board of your department to provide wide publicity for the same.
Thanks, in anticipation of your valuable contribution.
