National Seminar, consumer protection in e-commerce and digital era: issues and challenges,  Central University of Haryana, Mahendergarh, September  17-18, 2018

ABOUT THE SEMINAR :-The notion of consumer protection flashes the plight of poor and helpless consumers with no resort for resolving their grievances against the mighty producers/sellers and capitalist bodies. History has witnessed the paradigm shift from the notion of ‘caveat emptor’ to ‘caveat venditor’ by shifting the liability from buyer to seller which inter alia has put a check on the unfair trade practices.

Seminar details: Right to Education implies inclusion of all learners in the mainstream of education despite of any disabilities or special abilities. It is a value laden concept. Inclusion implies justice to all. It has positive social and psychological implications also. Its golden rule is that ‘Nobody should feel left out’. Everyone should have access to educational opportunities. Everyone is equal despite of being unique individual. Now the implementation of inclusive education implies preparing teachers for inclusive education for which teacher education program curricula need to be updated and enriched. This conference is aimed at inviting and discussing the issues which suggest types of changes needed and being practiced in India as well as in other countries to cater to the needs of various categories of learners which need to be included in the mainstream so that they are not neglected and their needs are attended to without letting them feel they are different.
