“Scientific and Technological Innovations for Sustainable Development”
Innovation has been the backbone of modern technological revolution which has propelled mankind to frontiers which were termed seemingly unachievable in past. At the same time, mindless destruction of natural resources has kept mankind wondering about this new direction that humans have taken on the highway of progress. The idea of scientific and technological innovation for sustainable development fits right in the context where technology and science take a responsible road to development. Environmental upkeep and social equality play an important role in this idea. With the same spirit we invite researchers around the world to converge at REDSET 2015 to discuss the aspects of science and technology and innovative solutions which could help us preserve environment and uplift the downtrodden section of society. Innovations which take us forward and keep environment safer for future generations, are the need of our times and must be the number one priority of scientific community. Science knows no borders and hence an international effort in this regard is proposed by GD Goenka University through REDSET 2015. REDSET 2015 hopes to inculcate an international dialogue between scientists and engineers across borders to work in cohesion towards a common goal of sustainable development using tools of engineering and science. We aim to put forward the recent trends in this domain and make an international communal group of scientists and engineers who can train future generations for benefit of mother earth and make great leaps of progress at the same time.
